Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1 lbsausage(neese's or bass farms)
  2. 1 dozenextra large eggs
  3. 1 3/4 cupheavy cream
  4. 1 packagesbutter and garlic crourons
  5. 8 ozreal bacon pieces
  6. 12 ozfinely shredded chedder cheese
  7. 1salt and pepper to taste

    grease 9x13 baking dish

  2. 2

    pre-cook sausage until browned and put in greased baking dish and divide evenly in dish

  3. 3

    add package of croutons and spread evenly on top of sausage

  4. 4

    add half of the cheese and sprinkle evenly

  5. 5

    beat the eggs, heavy cream, salt and pepper in a seperate bowl. once whipped and airy pour over sausage mixture in baking dish

  6. 6

    take package of bacon and spread evenly across top.

  7. 7

    cover with Saran wrap and refridgerate over night.

  8. 8

    Christmas morning preheat oven to 350°F

  9. 9

    take out the casserole, remove Saran wrap and put in oven, just as it starts to brown in top remove from oven sprinkle remaining cheese and return to oven until cheese melts. this process should take approximately 25 minutes plus 10 additional minutes after cheese is put on top.

    remove from oven and serve. This is a great Christmas morning breakfast, tastes awesome. quick and easy to do since all the prep is down the day prior.
