Ingredients

  • 4 cupdry white wine
  • 2 cupwater
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1carrot chopped
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1/4 tspmarjoram
  • 1 tbspchopped parsley
  • 1/2bay leaf
  • 1 stalkof celery chopped
  • 10peppercorns
  • 1/4 tspthyme

Steps

  1. 1

    add all the ingredients together boil for about 45 minutes then strain refrigerate it will keep for several days

  2. 2

    if you want to make it red substitute red for white wine and add a 1/3 more carrots and onions
