prepare pot of water for pasta and add salt prior to boil

boil pasta in salt water until it has reached your desired texture

immediately remove from heat and cool pasta under cold water in colander

dry pasta. place pasta in bowl or gallon zip lock bag, and add oil and vinegar. refrigerate over night... stir or turn pasta at least once for even distribution of vinegar

once pasta has soaked up the oil and vinegar, dust pasta in Italian seasoning

cut mozzarella and tomatoes to desired size and stir in. chop basil and stir in moments before serving.
