Preheat the oven to gas mark

Then get the butter and sugar and cream in a bowl until light and fluffy

Crack the eggs into the creamed sugar and butter and beat until mixed well

Add the flour in a little at a time and fold it in. DO NOT mix it otherwise the air will come out of the mixture and they will not rise properly.

Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases and put into the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown in the top
