in a skillet, melt butter, add brown sugar, spices and salt. cook and stir until browned and bubbly.

add squash and cook 10 min stirring, until tender.

spoon into a cassarole dish or cooked pie crust

spoon sauceon top. sprinkle with sugar. bake uncovered 15-20 mins

cool slightly. serve with whipped cream
