get your grill nice and hot, or a grill pan, if cooking indoors

take your jalapenos and cut them in half, taking all the seeds and membranes out, that is, if you don't want them to be too spicy.

next, brush on your olive oil make sure.you coat them completely

arrange the halved peppers on a roasting rack, I recommend using a mesh one, not the actual grill grate. and cook them for a good 15 minutes turning them every 5 minutes or until they're nice and roasted, turning black on the edges a bit.

next take your cream cheese and let it soften, at this step you can feel free to add seasoning to the cream cheese, even a bit of hot sauce, fold it in a large bowl and once it's nice and smooth, transfer it to a plastic bag and cut.off the tip

next, take your pepper halves and fill them with your cream cheese, you can then serve them as is or get fancy with them, I like.wrapping mine in bacon, the guys go crazy for them. A great alternative to deepfrying. and the charred flavor adds more to it, I think. enjoy : )
