My husband loves brownies and I found this recipe. I don't like using box brownies, they have a lot of chemicals and preservatives. These are always a success when I make them, never last more than a day or two!

My husband loves brownies and I found this recipe. I don't like using box brownies, they have a lot of chemicals and preservatives. These are always a success when I make them, never last more than a day or two!

pre heat oven to 350°F. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt butter and pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit a couple minutes, then stir gently until smooth.

In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sift together to blend and set aside.

In large bowl, lightly whisk eggs together, but don't whisk air into them.

Add vanilla, corn syrup, sugar, and brown sugar. Stir to blend, and still make sure not to whisk air into the mixture.

Add chocolate/butter mixture and stir.

Fold in flour mixture until just combined. Batter will be thick. Scoop out and place on baking sheet. Press down to form cookie shape.

Bake 13-18 minutes, depending on your oven and thickness of cookie.
