  1. 8 cupfinely diced cabbage
  2. 1/4 cupdiced carrot
  3. 2 tbspminced onions
  4. 1/3 cupsugar
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1 dashpepper
  7. 1/4 cupmilk
  8. 1/2 cupmayo
  9. 1/4 cupbuttermilk
  10. 1 1/2 tbspwhite vinegar *** if souring your own milk use only 1 1/2 teaspoon
  11. 2 1/2 tbsplemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Cabbage and carrots must be finely diced.

    Put cabbage and carrot mix in a large bowl, stir in minced onions.

    mix remaining ingredients until smooth.

  4. 4

    Pour over vegetable mixture.

  5. 5

    Cover bowl and refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
