Place each slab on heavy piece of aluminum foil shiny side down

sprinkle generously with the dry rub pat the dry rub into the meat

Refrigerate for at least one hour and as many as 12

Prepare braising liquid place ribs on baking sheet open one end and pour half of the braising liquid into the foil pouch tilt baking sheet in order to distribute microwave all braising liquid for 1 minute

Braise for 2 and a half hours

Preheat oven to 225°F

Transfer braising liquid into a saucepan bring to a boil and simmer until reduced by half

Brush the glaze on to the ribs place under a broiler until glaze caramelizes watch carefully this can burn easily

Slice into 2 rib portions place the remaining glaze into the bowl and toss the rib portions in the glaze
