after trying a few tweaks on a classic tolehouse cookie this one is perfect every time. Adding only the yoke of the second egg makes for a less cakey more chewy cookie :)

after trying a few tweaks on a classic tolehouse cookie this one is perfect every time. Adding only the yoke of the second egg makes for a less cakey more chewy cookie :)

preheat oven to 345

soften butter but not quite to liquid
- 3
cream together butter and both brown and white sugar until smooth
- 4
add vanilla, egg and egg yolk continue stiring until smooth
- 5
in seperate bowl combine flour baking soda and salt
- 6
slowly fold dry ingrediants into butter mixture until a nice dough forms
- 7
fold in chocolate chips
- 8
form one tablespoon balls onto non greased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes depending how chewy or crispy you like them
