Ingredients

  1. 2 lbcubed beef
  2. 1large bell pepper "seeded and chopped"
  3. 1large onion, chopped
  4. 1large tomato, chopped
  5. 1/4 cupchopped garlic
  6. 2/3 ozcumin seeds
  7. 1/2 ozground black pepper
  8. 1 quartwater
  9. 2whole jalapeños
  10. 1/2 cupblonde roux. made from 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup fat salt

Cooking Instructions

2 hours 30 mins
  1. 1

    Brown cubed meat in large saute pan. Add all ingredients besides roux and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and then add the roux. Cook at simmer till sauce thickens and meat is tender. About 2 hrs normally. Salt to taste and serve. Easy and delicious!
