  1. 500 gramsBhindi (lady finger) .
  2. 1 cupOnion
  3. 1 tspGinger-Garlic paste
  4. 1 tspRed chilly powder.
  5. 1/2 tspTurmaric powder
  6. 1 tspCoriender powder
  7. 2Oil (soya) .
  8. 2Spring of chopped coriender leave.
  9. 1salt as per taste.

    Bhindi or lady finger is a versatile vegetable. It can be cooked with so many ways and ingredients. It imbibes the flavour of the ingredients it is cooked with very well. If you are wondering how to make this squishy vegetable into a tasty dish then I hv a simple recipie of Bhindi which goes very well with hot phulkas or roties.

    Sabji is a very popular from Western Utter Pradesh . It is generally prepared with green chillies. But here we are the same ingredients used in sabji to make it this Delicious Vegetarian recipe of BHINDI KI SABJI. You cannot cook this side dish with simple handy ingredients. It tastes every better if you fry bhindi before adding the spices.

    Wash the bhindi properly. Pat it dry with a kitchen towel chop off the ends and slice then into small pieces.

    Heat one table spoon off oil in a pan and fry the bhindi for about 5 minutes. Then transfer it to a plate and keep it a side.

    Now heat a table spoon of oil and add the sliced onions. Fry it on medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes. Till they turn transparent.

    Add Ginger - Garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Now add Turmeric Powder , Red chilly powder, Turmaric powder, coriender powder, salt and cook it for about 2-3 minutes.

    Add the fried Bhindi pieces and mix well.

  9. 9

    Sprinkle some water if needed.

  10. 10

    Cook on low medium heat / flame for about 7- to - 8 minutes till the bhindi is cooked.

  11. 11

    Once done, switch off the flame and Garnish it with coriender leaves .

  12. 12

    Serve this Delicious Bhindi ki SABJI with hot phulka / rotis. It is a superb treat for the vegetarian and Vegans !
