Steps

Preheat the oven to 180'cTake the flan base out of the packet and arrange the pear halves face down onto the base.

Scatter half the chocolate chunks onto the pears.

Pour the remaining chocolate chunks into the cake mix and pour over the pears making sure that there are no gaps and all the pears are covered.
- 4
Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes making sure that the cake mix is slightly golden in colour but cooked. (the mix does not need to rise like a normal cake)

Remove from the oven and serve warm with vanilla ice cream .
