Ingredients

4 servings
  • dough
  • 2 1/2 tspsalt
  • 4 tspbrown sugar
  • 1sachet yeast
  • 300 mlwarm water
  • 450 gramswholemeal flour
  • filling
  • 1/2 cupolives, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cupsundried tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cuproasted sweet peppers, cooled and sliced
  • 1/4 cupparmesan

Steps

1 hour 20 mins

    Preheat your oven to 160°C.

  2. 2

    Combine your dry dough ingredients. Add your water and mix to form a smooth dough.

  3. 3

    Spread your dough onto a greased baking tray, leaving it about 2cm thick.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with flour, cider with a damp cloth, and put in a warm place for 30 - 45 minutes.

  5. 5

    Mix all your filling items together, keeping back some of the parmesan to sprinkle on top.

  6. 6

    Place your filling onto one side of your dough. Fold the top over and seal the edges firmly.

  7. 7

    Gently pat the sides to make a nice clean shape.

  8. 8

    Brush the top with a thin layer of olive oil and sprinkle with your remaining parmesan.

  9. 9

    Bake for 25 minutes.

  10. 10

    Serve and enjoy :)
