Ingredients

  • 4 tbspBeef Tallow (or fat of choice)
  • 7 cloveGarlic - diced (we love garlic)
  • 1 mediumOnion - diced
  • 2 tbspDried Basil
  • 1 can28oz organic fire roasted tomatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat tallow in a sauce pan over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then toss in onions. Stir ever once in a while, cook for 10-15 minutes till onions start to brown and caramelize.

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes and basil, simmer for 45 minutes or so.

  4. 4

    If you want the sauce thin, run an immersion blender through it (or put it in a blender.)
