Soak almond for 4 to 5 hours. Peel off the skin. Grind almonds with milk into a coarse paste.

Dissolve saffron in 2 tbsp hot milk.

Combine almond paste and sugar. Cook with stirring till the sugar melts.

Add ghee 3 tbsp at a time and keep stirring.

Cook till the Halwa forms a ball without sticking to the pan.

Add saffron milk. Mix well.
- 7
May add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder at this stage.
- 8
Offer Badam Halwa to Lord Sri Krishna. Honor Krishna Prasadam.
