Ingredients

  1. 1 packagescornbread mix
  2. 1apple, cored & chopped
  3. 2celery stalks, chopped
  4. 1small onion, chopped
  5. 1carrot, chopped (optional)
  6. 3small snack peppers, chopped (optional)
  7. 1/4 tspground ginger
  8. 1 cupapple juice
  9. 1 packagesground sausage, cooked into crumbles

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the cornbread based on directions on box. Muffins are easier.

  2. 2

    Mix everything together in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    I usually stuff a turkey with this but you could stuff anything with it I suppose.

  4. 4

    Bake inside a bird or bake at 350 for 30 minutes in a large baking dish.
