My mother made long time ago. Seen someone on here ask about fudge made with cocoa, but couldn't find then. So found so thought I'd post it

Cook these ingredients over medium heat until firm soft ball stage on candy thermometer

Add 5 more tablespoons of butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; beat until thick.

Add 1 cup chopped pecans or 1-1/2 cups toasted chopped peanuts. (My mother used walnuts)

Pour into a greased 8x8 inch square pan. Cut into small squares after cooled
