Ingredients

  • 12 ozcan of original spam
  • 6 mediumpotatoes cubed
  • 2 cupcolby jack cheddar cheese roughly broken
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspgranulated garlic powder
  • 1 tspcoarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 cupwater divided in half
  • 1 largeonion chopped
  • 1 lbcooked bacon , the drippings

Steps

  1. 1

    in a pan with bacon drippings from a pound of bacon add onions sweat them add potatoes coat well with drippings

    cube the spam after 10 minutes add it add half a cup of water

  3. 3

    add spices let cook 7 minutes covered

  4. 4

    add watercook 10 minutes

  5. 5

    add broken cheese cover let steam 5 minutes
