Ingredients

  • 3 lbBottom Round Steak (Tenderized and cut into 1" Cubes)
  • 3 tbspMinced Garlic
  • 1 tbspOlive Oil
  • 1 tbspFlour
  • 9 cupWater (divided)
  • 3Beef Bouillon Cubes
  • 3/4 lbBaby Carrots (cut in half)
  • 6 ozCan of Tomato Paste
  • 1Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 largeWhite Onion 1½"
  • 2 largePotatoes (cut into 1½" cubes)

Steps

  1. 1

    Sauté cubed steak, garlic, olive oil, and flour in a large pot until lightly browned on all edges.

  2. 2

    Add 7 cups of water and the beef bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil. Then, lower heat to simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine carrots and simmer for 40 minutes.

  4. 4

    Next, add onion, potato, and 2 more cups of water. Bring back to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine tomato paste and add salt & pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Boil for 10 minutes.
