Ingredients

10 to 12 minute
  1. 1whole fresh small bottle gourd
  2. 1/2 teaspoonBlack cumin
  3. 1 tea spoonginger paste
  4. 1bay leaf
  5. 3-4green chilies
  6. 1/2tspTurmeric powder
  7. Salt
  8. 1 teaspoonclarified butter or ghee
  9. 1/2 teaspoonsugar
  10. 0ne table spoon mustard oil
  11. And half cup half boiled mungdal with a little salt and turmeri

Steps

10 to 12 minute
  1. 1

    Cut the bottle gourd finely..

  2. 2

    Heat the mustard oil..

  3. 3

    Add black cumin one bay leaf and green chilies.

  4. 4

    Add finely sliced bottle gourd..

  5. 5

    Saute it for 2 minutes..

  6. 6

    Add salt and turmeric powder..

  7. 7

    Cook it on low flame till half done..Add ginger paste.

  8. 8

    Add half boiled moong dal in it and mix it well...cook it by covering a lid on medium flame.

  9. 9

    When all the water evaporates add 1/2 teaspoon sugar and ghee..

  10. 10

    Turnoff the gas..

  11. 11

    Serve with boiled rice.
