
Hazel's Meatloaf
This was my mother Hazel's recipe.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Crush saltines until they are finely ground in a large mixing bowl , add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl. Spray 13 x 9 baking pan with cooking oil. Place mixture into the pan. Shape mixture into a loaf. Cover with additional ketchup.

Bake in oven for 1/2 hr. Slowly take pan out of the oven. Bring it to the sink and carefully take a spoon and drain off excess grease. It depends on the amt. of fat content as to how much you have to drain off. Return pan back to oven and cook for 1/2 hr more. Take a knife and cut down the center to make sure it is thoroughly cooked.
