Ingredients

25-30minutes
2-3servings
  1. 1 small cup tur dal
  2. 1/2 cuppeeled chopped raw mango
  3. 1Onion chopped
  4. Big pinch turmeric powder
  5. 2-3green chilies
  6. 1/2 tspchopped ginger
  7. To tasteSalt
  8. 1 1/2 cupwater
  9. For seasoning:
  10. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  11. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  12. 3-4garlic cloves chopped
  13. 1-2dry red chilli
  14. 5-6curry leaves
  15. 2 tspoil

Steps

25-30minutes
  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker place dal,mango pieces, onion, ginger, turmeric powder water and pressure cook upto 3 whistles.

  2. 2

    Heat oil add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, chopped garlic, red chilli, curry leaves and stir fry for half a minute.

  3. 3

    Add this to pressure cooked dal add salt cook on medium flame for 8-10 minute.

  4. 4

    Serve with white Rice.
