  1. 3medium potatoes peeled and shredded
  2. 1egg
  3. 1/4 cupfinely minced onion
  4. 2 Tbspflour
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1/4 tsppepper
  7. oil for frying
  8. applesauce
  9. sour cream

  1. 1

    Shred potatoes in processor... Place in colander and press to remove liquid

  2. 2

    Finely chop or shred onion.

  3. 3

    Combine egg , shredded potato, onion, flour, salt , and pepper in mixing bowl and let sit 5 minutes. Then stir again. Repeat until "goopy" consistency

  4. 4

    Fry in oil until browned with crispy edges.

  5. 5

    Serve with sour cream or Apple sauce
