Make a coarse paste of the soaked daal

Now add ghee in a heated pan and saute the daal with a pinch of salt

Add milk and boil keeping on low heat, covering with a lid

As the milk dries up and the daal gets cooked well add sugar mix well

Mix the khoya kheer and combine well

Finally add chopped dry fruits and raisins,sprinkle cardamom and fennel seeds powder

Chana daal halwa is ready to be served
