Onion Coconut Paratha

#cookingwithcoconut - Parathas are an all time favourite weekend breakfast at home. So this time I made onion paratha with some coconut flavour. I added fresh grated coconut along with other ingredients and kneaded with coconut milk. Simple, easy and delicious, it gives a completely new taste to our daily parathas. Enjoy them hot with yogurt, green chutney, pickle or butter.

I added fresh grated coconut along with other ingredients and kneaded with coconut milk. Simple, easy and delicious, it gives a completely new taste to our daily parathas. Enjoy them hot with yogurt, green chutney, pickle or butter.

In a bowl, combine all the above mentioned ingredients (except oil) and knead into a dough with the coconut milk. Cover and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

Divide into equal portions and roll out each portion into a disc just like chapatti. Heat a tawa / griddle and shallow fry them one at a time till light golden on both sides. Relish with yoghurt, pickle, green chutney or butter.
