I was craving some donoughts at night and decided why not? These eggless doughnuts are to die for! not literally of course ;)

I was craving some donoughts at night and decided why not? These eggless doughnuts are to die for! not literally of course ;)

Add flour, salt and instant dry yeast to a bowl and whisk

Heat milk and butter until butter is melted
- 3
Allow milk butter mixture to cool completely before adding to flour mixture. Add vanilla essense and begin to knead

Knead the dough until it becomes soft but pliable. Place dough in oiled bowl, cover with damp kitchen towel place in a warm place to rise until double in size around 45 minutes

Once double in size divide into 4 pieces. Roll out one piece into a round shape to yuor desired thickness

Use a round glass/cup to cut out round shapes then use a bottle cap to cut the middle small round part

Heat a deep bottomed pan with oil. Once hot add a couple of doughnuts at a time and fry until golden brown

Place cooked donoughts on a kitchen paper lined plate to absorb excess oil
- 9
To make red glaze. Add 1 cup icing sugar and few drops red food color onto deep plate. Add a tablespoon of water/milk at a time and mix to get thick smooth consistency

Dip the doughnut into the red glaze on one side and then generously sprinkle with dessicated coconut

Amazingly fluffy on the inside. Delicious any time of day!
