Soak the fava beans for 12 hours in warm water, changing the water two to three times during soaking.

In a food processor, blend all the ingredients together until you have a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into portions as desired, depending on the number of servings. Store any remaining mixture in the freezer.

Take the portion you want to prepare and add salt, black pepper, and cumin to taste.

Shape the dough into patties or sticks as you prefer.

Fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through.
