Ingredients

  1. 10 piecesokra
  2. 2brinjals
  3. 2tomatoes diced
  4. 2onions diced
  5. 3garlic cloves minced
  6. 1 inchginger minced
  7. Halfa tsp each of cumin seeds, and mustard seeds
  8. Halfa tsp each of cumin and coriander powder and garam masala
  9. 2 piecesred or green red chilli
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. Pinchsugar
  12. 1 TBStomato sauce
  13. Halfa cup milk

    Prepare your ingredients

    Prepare your spices

    Heat your pan add oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds and cook for 10 secs.

  4. 4

    Add onions, garlic, ginger, and chilli, stir and cook until the the onions become translucent.

  5. 5

    Add your spices except garam masala. Stir and cook for 1-2 mins

  6. 6

    Add your diced okra and brinjals into the mixture and cook for 2-3 mins stirring so that the mixture does not stick to the pan

  7. 7

    Add tomatoes cook for 2 mins or until the tomatoes become soft. Add a little water, salt, tomato sauce, milk and sugar and let it simmer fo 10 mins or until the liquid reduces.

  8. 8

    Add garam masala, cover and switch off the flame.

  9. 9

    Serve with white rice.
