Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.

In a bowl beat butter until smooth. Add brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs and beat until well incorporated.

Whisk flour and baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Add dry ingredients and the chocolate chips to the egg mixture and mix until well incorporated

With a spoon drop about 2 tablespoon of batter onto prepared baking sheet.

Bake for about 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
