Ingredients

  1. Flour
  2. Baking powder
  3. Caster Sugar
  4. Egg
  5. Millk
  6. Currants
  7. Butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Sieve flour, baking & salt

  2. 2

    Dissolve sugar in the liquid egg

  3. 3

    Rub butter in flour

  4. 4

    Add the currants and peel

  5. 5

    Blend in the milk

  6. 6

    Divide mixture into small portion

  7. 7

    Egg wash& sprinkle with caster sugar

  8. 8

    Bake for 15 -20 min
