Ingredients

25 minutes
4 servings
  • 4bread slices white/brown
  • 1/2 cupsuji/rawa
  • 1/2 cupyogurt
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped onion
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped capsicum (yellow, green and red)
  • 2 tbspgrated carrot
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped tomato
  • 1 tbspgrated cabbage
  • 2green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tspbutter

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Take rawa/suji, yogurt and water in a mixing bowl. Mix it well and make a thick batter.

  2. 2

    Now add onion, capsicum, carrot, tomato, cabbage, green chillies, coriander and salt.

  3. 3

    Mix all together very well and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Now spread the prepared rawa mixture evenly over one side of the bread slice.

  5. 5

    Heat tawa or pan on low medium heat. Once hot, add butter.

  6. 6

    Place the bread on tawa with rawa mixture side down.

  7. 7

    Cook till it becomes golden brown.

  8. 8

    Apply some butter on the other side and flip it. Cook for few seconds or till crisp and brown.

  9. 9

    Cut it into half or triangles and serve hot with ketchup.
