Gatte ki sabji

#besan Earlier this sabji was a part of rajasthani cuisine but now it is an alltime favourite of all indians. Although Gatte means solid pieces but when cooked in curry they become super soft. With goodness of besan and aromat flavours, gatte ki sabji is super tasty.

For gatte-

Make a smooth dough by adding all the ingredients and rest it covered for 20 mins.

Make cylinders with dough and steam them till they are cooked

Cut them in small roundels.

For gravy-

Heatup a pan, add oil then hing,then jeera. When it splutters add ginger garlic paste

Saute for two mins and add chopped onion till light brown

Put all the masalas and then tomato puree, green chilli and salt

When it leaves oil,add water to make gravy.

When done,add gatte,switch off the flame and cover

Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve
