Steps

Pre-heat your oven to 175degrees C

Oil and dust your baking tin and set aside.

Sift your flour and set aside

In a bowl cream your sugar and margarin

Beat one egg at a time while adding to the cream. Add the milk and water
- 6
Add the lemon juice, zest, vanilla essence and fold in the flour to a batter for about 3 mins. Ensure there are no moulds.

Pour into your baking tin.

Bake for 40mins. Insert a toothpick to check if ready.

Set aside to cool.

Serve with your favourite drink.
