A Chinese friend taught me this recipe because my family and my partner love it so much, so I had to learn how to make it myself.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced ginger, ground pork, and doubanjiang. Stir-fry until the pork is cooked through.

Add the tofu, cut into large cubes. Pour in enough water to just cover the tofu. Season with soy sauce and salt.

Mix the cornstarch with a little water, then slowly add it to the pan while stirring gently to avoid lumps. Finally, add the green onion. Serve immediately. Garnish with a little cilantro if desired.
