  • 150 gmthick variety Poha (1/2 cup for each flavour)
  • as neededOil for frying
  • to tasteSalt
  • 4 tbsproasted peanuts
  • 4 tbsproasted gram dal
  • as neededFew curry leaves
  • 4green chillies chopped
  • 6 tspsugar powder (2 tsp for each flavour)
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 3 tbspbesan sev (ready available)
  • 2 tbspdried coriander leaves powder
  • 1 pinchturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspamchur powder (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil..it should be hot..fry poha. Fry chopped green chillies and curry leaves.

    Divide fried poha into 3 parts.

    In first part add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,1tbsp red chilli powder,salt to taste,2 tbsp powder sugar,2 tbsp roasted peanuts,2 tbsp roasted gram dal,fried 2- green chillies pieces,few fried curry leaves,1/4 tsp aamchur powder(optional).mix well.Store in airtight jar.

    To make diet chiwda(white)

    In second part of fried poha add salt to taste and 2 tsp powdered sugar.Add 3 tbsp besan sev...mix well.Store in airtight jar.

    To make dried coriander leaves flavour chiwda(green)

    In third part of fried poha add a pinch of turmeric powder,roasted peanuts, roasted gram dal,fried 2- green chillies pieces,fried curry leaves,salt to taste, 2 tsp sugar powder and 2 tbsp dried coriander leaves powder,1/4 tsp aamchur powder (optional)mix well and store in airtight jar.

    For turmeric powder and red chilli powder flavour.
