To get crunchy vegetables for your sides don't boil them

Heat water until hot

Chop carrots into strips, trim edges of French beans. Mix vegetables in bowl

Add vegetables in the hot water for few minutes

Remove the vegetables from the hot water and immediately add in cold water

This stops the vegetables from cooking further and retains the vibrant green and orange color

Serve with beef, chicken, pretty much any meats
