Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsabudana (tapioca pearls), soaked for 1-2 hours (about 150 grams)
  2. 1/2 cuppeanuts (about 70 grams)
  3. 2-3green chilies
  4. 1small piece of ginger
  5. as neededCilantro,
  6. 2-3boiled potatoes
  7. Sendha namak (rock salt), to taste
  8. Oil or ghee, as needed, for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind the peanuts, green chilies, cilantro, and ginger together in a blender or food processor.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, combine the soaked sabudana, boiled potatoes, peanut paste, and salt. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Shape the mixture into small patties (vadas).

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the sabudana vadas until golden brown.
