Steps

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add onion, green chillies and salt in it saute it until it becomes light brown in colour.

Now add ginger paste and garlic paste in it cook it well.

Add tomato, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and raisins in it cook it till tomato becomes soft and mushy.

Now add soaked rice in it stir it for 5 minutes on medium flame then add water in it and allow it cook for 1 vessel and simmer it for 5 minutes then switch off the flame.

Your onion rice is ready to serve now.
