Heat oil and fry the pointed gourd

As it is soft add potatoes and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Now in another pan add the cumin seed bay leaf and stir

Add ginger paste and saute

Add cumin coriander powder and red chilli Powder

Saute well adding coconut and cover

Add sugar and mix well

Serve with plain rice or chapati
