Dim Posto (Egg in Poppy seed gravy)

Grind poppy seeds, tomato and water to a fine thick paste.

Boil eggs for 6 minutes.

Heat up the kadhai add oil and add few pinches of salt and turmeric powder.

Shallow fry the boiled eggs and keep aside

Add the rest of the oil in the kadhai

Add cumin seeds and dried whole red chilli and fry for 1 minute

Add sliced onion and fry till golden brown in colour

Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well

Then add the poppy seed, water and tomato paste and fry until the oil leaves the paste

Add salt as per taste

Add the boiled eggs and simmer for 5 minutes

Add slit green chillies.

Add sugar as per taste

Simmer for 2 minutes and serve hot with parathas
