Mold the puff pastry into a pastry casing using either a prepared pie/tart pan or small casserole dish, then using a fork make some holes on the pastry casing and arrange the slices of apple on the pastry.

Sprinkle ground cinnamon on the pastry casing.

Whisk the egg and milk for 2 - 3 minutes. Then using a pastry brush glaze the pastry casing with the egg wash.

Bake the pastry casing in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
