Steps

Wash and Soak the rice for at least one hour

Add the milk in a big bowl / kadhai with thick bottom, let the milk boil

Once milk start boiling, add the rice and dry fruits, stir it continuously on slow flame for 10 minutes

Let the kheer cooked on slow flame for one hour, stir it 5-6 times in between, once it becomes thick, switch off the flame and add the sugar and cardamom powder

Stir it until sugar dissolves.

Let it cool, after that serve it.
