Ingredients

40 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1/4 cupPeanut
  2. 7 tea spoonSugar
  3. 1 cupKhoya
  4. 1 tea spoonCardamom powder
  5. 1/2 cupGrated beetroot
  6. Dry fruits for garnishing

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Dry roast peanut.
    Remove peel and grind in mixer to make fine powder.

  2. 2

    Boil beetroot along with 1 cup water.

  3. 3

    Strain the boiled water.

  4. 4

    Roast khoya for 2 minutes and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Now boil strained boiled beetroot water.

  6. 6

    Add sugar and elaichi powder to make 3 wire syrup.

  7. 7

    Add peanut powder, khoya.

  8. 8

    Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

  9. 9

    Transfer this to greased plate.

  10. 10

    Cool so that it will set.

  11. 11

    Cut into desired shape.

  12. 12

    Garnish with dry fruits.

  13. 13

    Healthy yummy barfi is ready.
