Sift together the flour and baking powder.

Cream butter and sugar till creamy

Add eggs one after the other as you whisk.

Add the vanilla essence and oil and whisk more

Add half the flour and half the milk and carefully mix.

Add the remaining flour and milk until well combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips

Pour in a lined tin and bake in a preheated oven(180•) for 55mins to 1hr
