Grind oil sugar and vanilla essence for 1 or 2 minutes

Then add 1 or 2 tbsp water or milk to adjust consistency grind again till all ingredients are well blended and sugar is completely dissolved

Now add baking powder or soda, salt, and cocoa powder grind into a smooth lump free batter

Remove this mixture in a bowl add maida little by little and keep mixing till a smooth soft dough is formed

Grease a thali or tray scoop out balls of dough roll between palms till smooth then press down to flatten it like a cookie

Preheat oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes then keep the cookie tray inside and bake at 180 degrees for next 20 minutes till cookies are nicely puffed up

Cool completely then remove it from the tray as they are brittle when warm

Store in airtight containers will last for more than 15 days
