Add potatoes to a large pot & cover them with water. Bring to a boil. Salt potatoes, continue to cook until potatoes finish 25-30 mins.

While potatoes are cooking, cook bacon, cut bacon into 1-inch pieces & cook until crispy. Drain on paper towel.

Strain potatoes & rinse them in cold water.

While potatoes are draining, add mayonnaise, sour cream, herbs, garlic, lemon juice, buttermilk, & Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until combined.

Transfer potatoes to a large bowl. Gently fold in the ranch dressing mixture. Add chicken (cooked), bacon, & onion to bowl with potatoes.

Cover the bowl & place the salad in the refrigerator to chill.
