Ingredients

40 minutes
15-20 ladoo
  • 2 cupbesan/gram flour
  • 2 tbsprawa/suji fine/ semolina
  • 1 &1/2 cupwater
  • 1/4 cuporange food colour
  • 10-12saffron food colour
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • 2 tbspcashew/kaju chopped
  • 2 tbsppistachios chopped
  • 2 tbspraisins
  • 2 tbspOil for frying

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly prepare a thin batter with gram flour, rawa and water or milk. Prepare a smooth flowing consistency batter.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Fill the strainer with the batter up to the half position it over pan and drain boondis in hot ghee.

  3. 3

    By hitting the strainer one side pan lifting up them again hitting. This process should be finished very quickly.

  4. 4

    Fry them to golden Colour drain and remove.

  5. 5

    Prepare sugar syrup of 11/2 thread consistency by boiling sugar and water.

  6. 6

    Add saffron water, and colour to the syrup.

  7. 7

    Mix the boondis, dryfruits, cardamom in sugar syrup. Mix well.

  8. 8

    And make sure to coat all the boondi with sugar syrup. Cover and keep a side for 10 minutes.

  9. 9

    Prepare the ladoo taking a small amount of boondi, add milk if required to make moist laddu.

  10. 10

    Moti hoor laddo ke ready to be served or refrigerate for week.
