Yam balls
A special delicacy with a twist!
Steps

Peel yam and cut into smaller pieces.wash well and place in a pot.add water enough to cover the top of the yam.add a pinch of salt and sugar. Cover and Cook till yam is tender.

In a mortar pound the onions,pepper and garlic.add seasonings, curry and mix to combine.add the cooked yam directly from the pot and pound well.make sure there are no lumps.add the canned fish and pound to combinemake into small balls.

Add oil in a deep pan or pot. Once hot deep the yam balls in beaten eggs and then roll in bread crumbs.this will prevent the balls from opening while in oil.deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.u can serve with any dip of ur choice or ketchup.
