Ingredients

45 mins
  1. 2 bowlsMultigrain flour
  2. 4 tbspChopped Spring onion
  3. 3 tbspChopped Capsicum
  4. 1 tbspButter/ desi ghee
  5. 1Mustard oil
  6. 1/2 tsp Ajwain
  7. To tasteSalt
  8. For bharta
  9. 2big egg plant
  10. 2medium chopped onion
  11. 1 tbspChopped ginger and garlic
  12. 1/2 teaspoonCumin seed
  13. 2Green chillies
  14. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  15. 2medium tomatoes
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  18. 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  19. 1 tbspCoriander powder
  20. 2 tbspMustard oil
  21. 2 tbspButter/ghee

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast eggplant till it becomes soft. Then peel the skin off and mash it.

  2. 2

    Now take a pan and pour 2tbsp mustard oil and heat it....then add cumin seeds in it.

  3. 3

    Add chopped ginger-garlic to it...and add chopped onion and heat it till it becomes translucent. Then saute it.

  4. 4

    Now add 2 medium chopped tomatoes and green chillies to it.

  5. 5

    Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder,red chilli powder and salt to taste

  6. 6

    Now add roasted mashed eggplant to it...and saute it on medium flame.

  7. 7

    When it leaves oil...means your bharta is ready..and garnish it with coriander leaves.

    For navratn missi roti. - Take multigrain flour in a bowl and add chopped Capsicum,spring onion,ajwain,mustard oil,green chilli,coriander leaves to it.

    Make a dough of the above ingredients.

    Heat a pan and roll that small ball from the dough to a chapati.

  11. 11

    Serve it hot with the ghee/butter on top..
